Just knowing I have to wait for the next one is upsetting! I love this series so much! And so many mysteries to think about while I wait.
My guess on where the power from that ball went is inside Etrius. His body probably still holds the energy. I also refuse to think he's dead, because if he was able to rip a dude into pieces without even touching him, he might be able to survive a headshot.
